 Pricing

It is impossible for us to establish a firm price more then about six months in advance of the ride, because of international exchange rate fluctuation.

As a general rule you can expect the cost of the ride to be approximately $5,000 for a rider and $2,500 for a passenger sharing accommodations with the rider.

Currently, we regret that there are no slots available for either Thunder in the Alps or Italian Thunder for 2009.

If you would like to have your name placed on our e-mail list we would be happy to send you an e-mail as soon as the schedule is established for 2010.  To get on our email list contact us here.

Special Pricing

Ask us about our group rates for five motorcycles or more.

If you are the recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor, your trip will be at our actual cost.

If you are the only U.S. Air Force Ace since Korea, your trip is at our actual cost.

In the spring of 1968 a group of U.S. Marines was ambushed and pinned down in a river bed by an enemy force on a hill above.  Another branch of service sent two aircraft to assist.  Both dropped ordinance from about 2500 feet and missed the enemy hill entirely.  The two aircraft were so high that the enemy did not even bother to shoot at them.  The failure of the air assault left the Marines only one option.

The Marines were staging their gear and fixing bayonets in preparation for a frontal uphill assault against a dug in enemy force.  A passing Marine Corps aircraft heard the radio traffic and called to see  if he could help.  That aircraft approached low and fast into the enemy small arms fire and in one run destroyed the enemy position, making the bayonet assault unnecessary.  If you were an aircrew member of that aircraft, your ride is free and the owner of Ultimate Thunder will carry your bags and buy your drinks.
